Donkey with Blue Shadow, 6 x 8, oil on carton, #331

Posted November 29th, 2012 by | No Comments

I’m back to my friend from out by the Church of Our Lady of the Upper Village. This donkey strikes such funny poses, looking for food, I guess. Painting on this carton, from Guerilla Painter, is fun. I think it’ll adhere well to a backing, too.

Warm-Up at Kathy’s, 8 x 10, oil on linen panel, #328

For me, Thanksgiving is the start of the holiday season. Time to put up extra lights, start cooking, and maybe even do a little shopping. Of course, I really know I’ll put it off till the last minute, but at least I can get a start on the season with painting.

Quick goat sketch today. Spent most of my art time mounting paintings, combing through the piles of stuff in the studio. Maybe the new year will inspire a giant clean-up!
