I don’t know why I chose purple for this underpainting, except that I thought it might be compatible with the colors I planned to use over it. I wonder if this is how the “Milka” cows got their start?

This donkey seemed really curious about something; I liked the look he was giving it and the dark shadow his head cast on his neck.
